The 22nd Annual Conference of the International Ombuds Association (IOA) will take place March 15–17, 2027, at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. Following a virtual conference in 2026, IOA is excited to return to an in-person format, bringing together Ombuds from across sectors and around the world to connect, share knowledge, collaborate, and strengthen the Ombuds community.

The term ombuds is used to communicate to the widest possible community and is not intended to discourage others from using alternatives. IOA respectfully acknowledges that many practitioners use alternative forms of this word including organizational ombudsman, ombudsperson, and others.
