Foundations Welcome & Alumni Reunion Event

IOA’s Foundations of Organizational Ombuds Practice has been introducing dispute resolution practitioners to the organizational ombuds profession for years. Since the onset of the global pandemic, the Foundations course has been virtual with an updated curriculum to take into account fast-moving changes in the profession. Now, IOA would like to take a moment at the Annual Conference to welcome Foundations graduates into the greater ombuds community. 

This year, #IOA2022 features a virtual “homecoming” for Foundations attendees. It will be a chance to reconnect with classmates and trade insights gained since completing the course. We invite instructors to join and reconnect as well.

The Foundations Welcome event will be hosted on a new virtual platform that simulates a conference hall with individual tables for each virtual Foundations class, and additional tables for previous years’ Foundations attendees. In addition to reconnecting with attendees and instructors, participants will receive brief highlights of what IOA has to offer in continuing professional development.

How to Participate

This event is being held as a part of the IOA Conference. You must be a registered attendee in order to participate. All invited alumni will then have the opportunity to enter the Gather.town virtual space on 4 April to connect with other Foundations attendees.
